The important thing for a happy family is an organized family, and we have made an effort to determine one of the easiest ways to get our mannequin houses to work for hectic households. We hit the nail on the head with our progressive mudroom concept.

It contains many important options along with:

4 special cabinets with organizers and cabinets inside for sneakers, hanging coats and bag storage.
Window chair for putting on / taking off sneakers, in addition to a cozy place to hang out and foam.
Delivery zone for with a cork plate message heart. It is an incredible place for storing mail and the inevitable “rubbish bin”.
We have also added electricity to the drawers so that phones / iPods can be charged from the website!
Many design elements have been used to make this house cozy and attractive along with:

1 × 4 Trim painted white – We sometimes use a nicer door cover, but this regular cover made a bigger claim in the clay room.
Beadboard Wainscot through the arenas – Protects the partitions and gives it a real clay room look. This bead board was about 6 ′ exaggerated with a 1 × 4 trim section on the base. We added hooks in the trim piece for coats / pets!
Window chair – This cozy place was complemented by a beaded rod and a painted seat with cushions.
Tile flooring- A robust floor that is simply washing machine friendly is an important element in this house. Use your creativity when choosing tiles. Choose a nice, nice shade and then make a “carpet” with tiles with a mosaic edge and tiles on the diagonal in the frame.
Roof therapy – We connected these tin squares to assume a piece of plywood and then nailed it to the beams in the ceiling. A little seat rail over the edges, and you have a delicious roof therapy!
Paint – Choose a warm color that highlights the tones of your tile – This shade from Benjamin Moore is known as Onandaga Clay (1204).
An important feature of this to the room is group, so keep that in mind when designing your clay room. Create the items you just want you can regularly remove from view and discover a way to resell them in this out-of-the-way place!
