Beluga Lake Cabins are newly constructed studio cabins located on Beluga Lake, in Homer. These new log cabins, which have a luxurious and spacious feel, are located on Beluga Lake in the center of Homer. These cabins have a central location near the Homer Spit. They also have a queen-sized and king-sized pullout sofa. Also, they have a living area and kitchen setup. They also have 3/4 bathrooms. A stones throw from the property are the shores on Beluga Lake. Each unit features a king-sized and a queen-sized pullout sofa, 3/4 bathroom (no dishwasher), a large flat-screen TV with Samsung TV Plus channels, washer, dryer, outdoor furniture, and two parking spaces. You have access a community fire-ring and a lake.
Cabin 4 offers a studio log cabin in loft style on the second level. This cabin comes with a queen-sized sofa pullout, 2 full baths and a fully furnished kitchen (no dishwasher). The loft on the 2nd floor has a king-sized bedroom, 3/4 bathroom, and a large TV with Samsung TV Plus. This cabin does NOT have a dryer or washer. Each cabin has an outdoor seating area and 2 parking spaces. It also has a lakeside access. While on vacation, you can enjoy these activities.
Emerald Lake hiking The Kenai Peninsula has the best network of hiking trails in Alaska. Cabins are available for public use on certain trails, including the Upper Russian Lake Trail. Johnson Pass and Resurrection are well-known and heavily-traveled trails, while others are just game trails. Enjoy the stunning views from Chinapoot Peak, located in Kachemak Bay State Park. You can also hike through rugged mountain passes such as Crow Pass, Twenty Mile Out of Girdwood or Twenty Mile Out of Girdwood. Even small hikes can reveal hidden treasures. Exit Glacier is a hike in Seward that takes you to Harding Ice Field. Diamond Creek hike takes you down to a deserted beach just outside of Homer. The trail system that runs along Kachemak Bay is located just outside Homer. Two short hikes from Glacier Spit to Leisure Lake will bring you to the Emerald Lake, solitude and the Emerald Lake. It is important to research the destination in order to understand the trail conditions, difficulty levels and other factors.
Bear viewing Homer in Alaska is the most popular place to see bears anywhere from mid-May to mid-September. Alaskan browns are the largest browns in Alaska. They are most abundant west of Homer. It is nearly impossible to miss seeing a bear. The tour operators will pick up you at Homer, and fly you to a popular bear viewing location, such as Lake Clark or Katmai National Park. The flight is approximately an hour long and features some Alaska’s most breathtaking natural scenery.
