A slightly hunched old grandmother with white cotton hair has put the colors of the rainbow in a box filled with sky blue, and flowers bloom wherever she touches her brush. Anezka Kašpárková, who deserves to be a fairy tale hero like the fairy who makes a car out of a pumpkin with a touch for Cinderella, creates blooming walls with her brush.
Anezka Kasparkova, 90, lives in the small village of Louka in the south of the Czech Republic. Despite his advancing age, he does not even want to think about a day without working.
He worked in the agricultural sector in his youth and took the first step to realize his passion for painting after taking lessons from a painter in his country thirty years ago and has been using the walls of the houses in the village as a canvas for thirty years.
She usually uses the color blue, which she thinks looks high quality and expensive, and she draws floral motifs. Even though the drawings of the grandmother, who says she loves flowers happily and smiling, are considered a work of art, she does it just to be happy. “I am not an artist and I just do what I love.” she says humbly.
Even high walls can’t make him give up; There seems to be no obstacle that he cannot overcome with his ladder. That’s how granny makes her village more beautiful.
Maybe one day our way will fall to the village of Louka and we can see these beauties in place.
