Small Garden Design Guide
The first thing to remember when planning a small garden design is to not see your limited space as a problem, but as an opportunity to think carefully about every inch of space and create a perfectly balanced outdoor space. People with large gardens enjoy the luxury of being able to create different areas and house many impressive features, but often because they’re so big, certain parts of the garden design tend to be neglected leading to a confused final image.
You also must be realistic from the outline about what you can achieve with your small garden. You might have a thousand different ideas about things you want to include but some of your plans might well have to be sacrificed. Think about what the most important purpose of your garden is and concentrate on achieving that. Do you want an outdoor space for preparing meals and socialising? Do you want an exotic garden full of wonderful plants and flowers to enjoy?
Whatever your primary focus is, make sure you keep that in mind and work towards getting that right above everything else. By trying to cram as much in to your small garden as possible, you’ll only serve to close in the space further.
Go through the normal garden design process of measuring your garden, drawing up a rough sketch and then listing all of the potential problems you’ll have to overcome in order to turn your plans into reality. The first step is to dig up the area that will be transformed into a lovely little garden. Reduce the area’s elevation relative to the rest of the surrounding area. Then use some clay pots that appear to want to spill. Arrange neatly in a row and calculate the size of the area required. If you think it’s too narrow, you can make it wider.

Proceed to the next step after ensuring that the size is correct. A garden border can help you organize a smaller, neater garden. You can use this garden border to create any pattern you want in your small garden. For a stunning final result, make the pattern as creative as possible.

After the pattern is formed, you can start planting some plants around it in the empty space. Use a mixture of compost and ash to fill in the pattern you created earlier. Make it look like it came out of a pot and flows naturally.
Use rocks for easy maintenance
For finishing, you can add small stones with various colors. Arrange it on the pattern that you prepared earlier. Small rocks that seem to spill from this pot will make your garden corner look more attractive, and many people want to have it. In addition to rocks, you can also replace them with grass or flowers, but of course there is a higher risk of death if your care is not optimal.
